_Y_p_c_h_p_a_s_s changes selected _p_a_s_s_w_d(4) fields associated with the user _n_a_m_e
(your own name by default) in the network information service (NIS)
_p_a_s_s_w_d databases. The _p_a_s_s_w_d fields that can be modified with _y_p_c_h_p_a_s_s
may have different contents from those for the same user in the local
/_e_t_c/_p_a_s_s_w_d file.
If invoked without options, _y_p_c_h_p_a_s_s invokes the editor named by the
environment variable EEEEDDDDIIIITTTTOOOORRRR, or _v_i(1) if EEEEDDDDIIIITTTTOOOORRRR is null or unset, to edit
a template of selected _p_a_s_s_w_d fields. After the user has edited this
template and changed or added appropriate field contents, _y_p_c_h_p_a_s_s checks
the updated contents. If they are well-formed, it updates the NIS
databases. Otherwise it prompts the user to re-edit the template.
If invoked with options, _y_p_c_h_p_a_s_s updates the NIS databases based on the
options' arguments and does not interactively acquire new field contents
using an editor.
----ffff _f_u_l_l_n_a_m_e Change the user's real name field to contain _f_u_l_l_n_a_m_e. A
useful convention, observed by _f_i_n_g_e_r(1), divides this
field into four comma-separated parts: the user's real
name, office, extension, and home phone.
----hhhh _h_o_m_e Change the initial working directory field to _h_o_m_e.
----ssss _s_h_e_l_l Change the shell field to _s_h_e_l_l.
Only the owner of _n_a_m_e may change its _p_a_s_s_w_d fields.
Use _y_p_p_a_s_s_w_d(1) to change a user's password.
RRRREEEESSSSTTTTRRRRIIIICCCCTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS
_Y_p_c_h_p_a_s_s only works with SGI NIS masters.
